I’ve made my decision. For about a year, my mom’s sister, who technically is my auntie, has been trying to put this house that I currently live in, under her name. I’ve decided to just let her have it and agree with the holographic Will she presented to a lawyer. I know that according to the legally signed and witnessed Will, my brother should get the house. But the updated and unwitnessed Will written by my grandpa (RIP) states that my auntie should get the house. I can not fight against something that my grandpa wanted. The law says my brother owns this house but since my grandpa wants his last and only surviving daughter to have this house, than so be it. I will respect my grandpa’s wishes. I just feel that it would immoral and disrespectful to go against my grandpa’s wishes. I can’t live with that.
On a lighter note, I’m stuck on Guam! My dad won’t even allow me to attend a University in Philippines. In about 6 months, I’ll be graduating high school and I’m not going anywhere. And since my house will be my auntie’s, I don’t know where I’ll be living by the end of this year! Oh well, whatever happens, happens. The least I can do is just hope for the best.
Aufwiedersehen.
